Humboldt squid have appeared in record numbers at Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary leading to speculation that they may be expanding their range northward. Holly Lohuis and Carrie Vonderhaar traveled to the Sea of Cortez, Mexico, to learn more about this top predator.
