Surfer Carissa Moore

Teenage surfing phenom Carissa Moore clinched her first ASP World Title in July, becoming the youngest winner in women's pro tour history. She was ASP Rookie of the Year in 2010, and finished third overall in ASP standings even after missing one of the season's eight events to attend her high school graduation. Moore, 18, is the first American woman to hold the title since Lisa Andersen won in 1997. Photography by Jason Kenworthy.
