Hannah Weinberger was an editorial assistant at Outside. Despite earning a degree in Mandarin Chinese from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Hannah pursued an interest in environmental science journalism after graduation and miraculously wound up investigating river health and testing gear in New Mexico. When not chasing down a lead, Hannah runs trails, plays guitar, and restrains herself from hugging carnivores.
