Aaron Robinson Dies in Chile

Snowboarder hit head in backcountry fall

Pro snowboarder Aaron Robinson died on Tuesday after hitting his head while riding in Chile. Robinson, 24, was on a run called Santa Teresita, near the resort El Colorado, when the accident occurred. He and snowboarder Blake Paul were shooting a movie for FunBlock Films in Santa Teresita, a backcountry area that is accessible from one of El Colorado's lifts and deposits riders at the resort's access road. Robinson, from Whitefish, Montana, was a two-time event winner of The North Face Masters tour.
