On Monday, the company that stages the Tour de France appears to have accidentally published the route for the 2012 race ahead of a scheduled announcement later this month. The 2012 route, if accurately represented, will feature fewer major climbs, no team time trial, and will begin earlier in the summer than normal to accomodate the Olympic Games. Tour owners Amaury Sports Organization will likely release the race's official schedule on October 18.
