Sir Francis Drake's Ships Found

Sailor's body could be next discovery

An international salvage team says it may soon find the body of Sir Francis Drake's after locating two of his ships off the coast of Panama, more than 400 years after they sunk. Led by former Philadelphia 76ers president Pat Croce, the 12-person team found the remains of the Elizabeth and the Delight and hopes to locate Drake's lead-lined coffin nearby. Drake, the first Englishman to circumnavigate the globe, was buried at sea in a full suit of armor after his death from dysentary in 1596 at age 55.
