Surfer seals ASP win after calculation error
After a math error forced the Association of Surfing Professionals to rescind Kelly Slater's 11th ASP World Title last week, Slater won an additional heat at the Rip Curl Pro Search event in San Francisco on Sunday and officially clinched victory. Slater, 39, was mistakenly awarded the title on November 2, but later discovered that an ASP error meant second-place surfer Owen Wright could still win.
