USA Cycling Names Early Olympic Teams
"Long teams" announced, pending races
USA Cycling has announced preliminary teams for the 2012 Olympics in London for mountian biking and women's road biking. Thirteen women, including defending road race gold medalist Kristin Armstrong, and Evelyn Stevens, Amber Neben, and Robin Farina, were announced for the women's road list. Final selections will consider 2012 racing performances and are expected by May. USA Cycling has no plans to announce a preliminary men's road team.
