Female beach volleyball players can wear more conservative clothing, including long-sleeved shirts and shorts, at the 2012 Olympic Games, the International Volleyball Federation said on Tuesday. The organization changed old rules favoring bikinis as the sport has grown to include several nations with cultural and religious beliefs that do not favor bikinis. The women's Olympic beach volleyball tournament will run from July 28 to August 12 in London. Officials do not expect many countries to take advantage of the new rules.
