Troy Hartman of Mammoth Lakes, California, is helping to make jet-pack skiing a reality. This video, from GrindTV.com, shows Hartman safely and easily cruising up slopes and over flats while controlling the jet pack's throttle with his right hand. The two jet engines on the backpack are designed for military drones and run on standard jet fuel.
Hartman is a professional stuntman and enjoys an adventurous, adrenaline-filled life of extreme pursuits. He converted the jet engine in the video from one he is developing to fit on a wing to be used by skydivers after jumping.
