The Tarrant County, Texas medical examiner has begun an autopsy of Andy Irons, the professional surfer found dead in a Dallas hotel room Tuesday, but important answers have yet to come in the toxicology report, the Dallas Morning News reports. Results of the test may not be available for as long as 90 days.
According to police reports, there were no obvious signs of struggle and several prescription drugs, including Xanax and Ambien, were found in the hotel room with Irons. Friends and family say that the surfer was also battling dengue fever.
