Utah's Newest Old Ski Resort
Eagle Point, Utah's 14th ski resort, is set to open this December 15, weather permitting, according to SkiNet.com, though there's a chance you've already skied there.
Formerly known as Elk Meadows Ski Resort, the property, which has lain dormant for eight years, was purchased last December at auction by a trio of investors forming XE Capital.
The resort, located in Utah's Tushar Mountains, is roughly a three-hour drive from both Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.
"We’re just selling the skiing experience,” said NYC-based CEO Shane Gadbaw. “This year is all about a place where people can ski and have fun… getting back with the locals, reestablishing a connection to skiers from Las Vegas, southern Utah, and southern California.”
