Study: Time Outdoors Affects Values

A study by the University of Rochester cited in Scientific American has reinforced what some of us might have already suspected: Spending time in nature not only helps our moods, it helps us become less self-centered and adopt more intrinsic values (relationships, experiences like powder days) as opposed to extrinsic values (money, Lamborghinis).
