Test Run at 19,000 Feet

Last fall, Jeremy Jones traveled to Nepal for the largest descent of his life: a 21,400-foot peak that he dubbed the Shangri-La Spine Wall. After being slowed down by foul weather, Jones needed to get back on the snow before attempting to summit the wall. He and his partner took a test run on 19,000-foot Mingbo La Pass. The latest episode of Jeremy Jones' Higher Unplugged, from Teton Gravity Research.
