After a weekend of severe storms and heavy rain, mountain biking's biggest stars were finally set loose on the dirt at the Red Bull Rampage.
Twenty athletes made the finals and each got two runs on the course. The riders had worked with a team of builders earlier in the week to create features, jumps, and different lines down the 1,000-foot-high cliffs. During the event, athletes had to choose the lines that best suited their riding styles—and desired scores.
In the end, Spain's Andreu Lacondeguy came away with the top prize after finishing fourth three years in a row.
