Anyone who’s ever had a good day riding waves knows that feeling of closing your eyes and feeling the rollers as they rock you to sleep. PBteen, the teen arm of Pottery Barn, is capitalizing on this by partnering with 11-time WCT champ Kelly Slater in their new Kelly Slater for PBteen Collection of ocean-themed bedroom furniture.

Launching online in April, Slates’ first foray into home furnishings features over 40 pieces of furniture, bedding, lighting, wall art, and decorative accessories for tweens and teens. Slater, long known for his environmental activism, has designed a collection that utilizes sustainable materials like FSC-certified wood, recycled fabrics, and 100 percent organic cotton.

Sure, most of the Kelly Slater for PBteen Collection will probably be sold to teens in Sheboygan and other Midwestern locales. But that doesn’t mean that when they turn in for bed they can’t enjoy a little California Dreamin’.
