Deuter Cruise 30 - Weekend Backpacks: Reviews

Our most organized testers especially liked this tough, sensible 1,850-cubic-inch pack. Internal pockets hold snow-safety gear, valuables, and a hydration bladder. Outside, five more: two on the side, one in the lid, one on the hip belt, and one shove-it pocket on the back panel. The ski and snowboard straps are standard issue, but the back zip panel is especially user-friendly, allowing you to grab lunch mid-scramble without rifling through the rest of the pack or loosening any straps. Design flaw: The Cruise has an extendable collar, so you can overload it, in theory, but the fixed lid prevents that. 2.9 lbs;
