Outside magazine's broadcast arm, Outside Television, announced Monday that it has reached a multi-year agreement to join Dish Network's programming, starting immediately.

Outside Television showcases the people, places, activities, and events featured in Outside magazine. Starting Monday, the channel will be free to Dish subscribers for a one-month preview period. It's on channel 390.

“We've partnered with Outside Television to take our customers directly into the action of extreme outdoor sports,” Dish Vice President of Programming Josh Clark said in a press release. “We are expanding our lineup of active outdoor lifestyle programming and unconventional sports coverage from mountaineering to BASE jumping and kitesurfing.”
