Comedian Kevin Hart was in Portland, Oregon, on Friday for a stop on his What Now Tour, currently in its sixth month, when he met world championship silver medalist runner Matt Centrowitz. Centro, as the runner is known, paced Hart through a sub-21-minute 5K, according Centro’s Instagram account.
“Tell it to hurry up, man,” Hart tells Centro, referring to a Garmin Forerunner 225 GPS watch. “No, you don’t want it to link because you just said that you didn’t want mine to link. Don’t touch it.”
Hart has been running sporadic “pop-up” 5Ks in various cities as part of his tour, which continues until March. The runs are hosted in conjunction with local Nike+ Run Clubs, according to Philly.com.
“More and more people are coming out!” Hart posted on his Instagram account following Saturday’s run in Seattle. “From fathers to mothers to children and even grandmothers… everyone is joining the ‘Hustle Hart’ movement. Getting motivated, damn it!”
