A group of Amsterdam-based designers have crafted a sustainable tiny house from cardboard.
The Wikkelhouse combines modular, 54-square-foot segments made from 24 layers of glued-together cardboard wrapped in waterproof foil. Then it's all finished with wood. The structure, which the designers say could last a century, isn’t heavy enough to need a foundation, so it can be placed almost anywhere. It’s also fully customizable.
You can’t buy one in the U.S. just yet. But stay tuned.
