Emily Harrington and Adrian Ballinger's Speed Attempt at Cho Oyu
Lightning Ascent, from Louder Than Eleven, Hi Ball Energy, and director Jon Glassberg, follows Adrian Ballinger and Emily Harrington as they ascend Cho Oyu. These two are no strangers to high-altitude climates and are more than familiar with one of our favorite terms, "pain cave." Yet for this trek, they used heart rate monitors and other technology to dial in their acclimatization levels, which allowed them to summit the 8,000-meter peak in just nine days. With this kind of knowledge and data in their repertoire, it's opening new doors for Ballinger's exploration of Everest. Follow more on Instagram from Harrington and Ballinger.
