Chris O'Neill grew up in the Rust Belt and has worked in the auto industry, helping Germans design cars for Americans. After relocating to downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, his foray into journalism started with an Instagram project highlighting the rare and unique vehicles encountered throughout the western United States. He now writes extensively about cars, primarily for Autotrader.com. He enjoys trail running, biking, camping and exploring the Mountain West in an old Toyota Land Cruiser with his fiance, Carolyn, and their two dogs, Timber and Lola.
