Watch 1,500 buffed competitors swim, bike, and run their way through 12,500 gallons of water and 2,000 bottles of sunscreen at the 20th Ironman Triathlon World Championships on the Big Island. The largest swells this side of Mars make an appearance on Oahu’s North Shore during the Red Dog Triple Crown of Surfing. Flying a kite takes on epic proportions at the 14th annual Hawaii Challenge International Sportkite Championships. Competitors from around the globe will perform aerial ballet and power manuevers that will get kites whistling at up to 60 mph.
