When the Florida Wildlife Commission offered $1500 for the most pythons caught in the Everglades in a month, they had no idea that over 1500 would-be hunters and a cabal of journos would flock to the swamp. From the wilds of south Florida we’ve heard mythic  reports of gun-totin’ rednecks and unscrupulous bounty hunters risking life and limb to help rid the pristine Glades of a biblical pestilence. In the final week of the Challenge, Caty Enders went south to see if any of it was true.
