Where to Two-Step
By Sara Corbett

Billy Bob’s Texas, 2520 Rodeo Plaza, Fort Worth, TX 76106; 817-589-1711. A turn-of-the-century cattle barn dressed up in neon, Billy Bob’s plays host to some of the country’s rowdiest boot-stomping. This month’s headliners include Willie Nelson and Jerry Jeff Walker.

The Crystal Chandelier, 1750 N. Roberts Road, Kenesaw, GA 30144; 404-426-5006. With a 4,000-square-foot dance floor, this club in the Atlanta suburbs has an atmosphere so lively that the authorities have forbidden it to hang its namesake chandelier for fear that dancers will use it in their routines.

Denim & Diamonds, 511 Lexington Ave., New York, NY 10017; 212-371-1600. Country boot-stomping is a rarity in the Northeast, but at this high-energy uptown club even the suits get down and do the Achy-Breaky. A spinoff of the California Denim & Diamonds chain.

The Wild Horse Saloon, 120 Second Ave. N., Nashville, TN 37201; 615-251-1000. Line-dance your way into America’s living rooms at this cavernous, not-so-old-style saloon, where TNN’s Wild Horse Saloon dance show is taped during weekly hoedowns.
