Project Play, a 100% volunteer organization, is shipping 2,500 soccer balls to impoverished regions of Africa. In 2008, the organization shipped 2016 balls to Niger. With help from the Peace Corp, Irish born founder Mike Mitchell hopes to provide large amounts of recreational equipment to especially poor countries.
