Question: I will be traveling to Colorado at the end of May. Are there any ski resorts still open then?

Adventure Adviser: If the winter keeps up like this, you may be in luck. Only the most well-situated Colorado ski resorts keep getting snow long after places like Aspen and Breckenridge
close their doors. Weather, of course, is the most unpredictable of factors, but if this season is anything like the last, it’s pretty likely that Arapahoe Basin (303-567-2191) and tiny Loveland Basin (303-569-3203)–both of which are an easy hour’s drive from Denver–will still be running the lifts
into early June.
