Three climbers left Timberline Lodge on Friday at 1 am to climb Oregon's Mt. Hood. They did not return the same afternoon. Authorities were notified and began setting up a search and rescue effort.
Yesterday authorities said they found 26-year-old Luke T. Gullberg of Des Moines, Washington dead at roughly 9,000 feet. The two other climbers, 29-year-old Katti Nolan of Portland and Anthony Vietti of Longview, Washington, have not been found. Around 30 volunteers with Portland Mountain Rescue will continue the search today.Â
