Swiss Man Walks Up Mountain, Via Cable Car Wire
Without a balance bar or safety equipment, Swiss stuntman Freddy Nock walked more than 3200 feet up a two-inch wide cable car wire to reach the summit of Zugspitze mountain in Bavaria. The total elevation gain of the walk was roughly 1100 feet, according to The Telegraph. In keeping with his country's neutral reputation, he stopped during the climb to flash a peace sign.
“It was a stressful walk”, Nock told reporters, explaining that his feet were still shaking after the 90-minute act.
The feat was the first in a series of seven high wire stunts the 46 year old hopes to complete in the next week to raise money for UNESCO's education for children fund. More on those in The Telegraph video above.
