Our favorite New Mexico llama/wilderness guide is coming to L.A. Stuart Wilde will lead his team of llamas–of the animal variety–around the city to extol the virtues of walking, in honor of Earth Day. Man and beast will hike from Hollywood to the Santa Monica pier to encourage people to cut back on fossil-fuel consumption, do their part to lower carbon emissions, and keep obesity in check.

“If we all traded one hour of driving a day for walking the same distance, we'd cut our fossil fuel usage by more than thirty percent, and lose an average of twenty-six pounds a year!” Wilde said.
