A recent study on cycling injuries presented at the 2009 Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons found that injuries at one trauma center had increased significantly over the past 11 years, reports Medical News Today. Even more surprising was that although the importance of wearing a helmet has been highly publicized, helmet use didn't change at all during the time of the study.
