Nothing has been confirmed yet, but Rosalie and Mike Pippin believe that there is a strong likelihood that the human remains found in the Bob Marshall Wilderness on Friday evening belong to their son, Noah Pippin, a 30-year-old Marine who disappeared in September 2010 while hiking in Montana. The remains were discovered by a search party of volunteers, border agents and a sheriff’s deputy who set out on Wednesday to look for the three-time Iraq War veteran. “People who saw Noah Pippin on a trail before he disappeared said the former Marine appeared ill-prepared for an extended stay in the wilderness,” according to the Associated Press.
