A new iPhone app that offers a virtual tour of Everest is now making the sights of the world’s highest mountain accessible to those of us who don’t have $50,000 to take a guided climb up it.

The new free Mount Everest 3D app is based off high-resolution satellite imagery and includes information on routes and camps along the way. For $5.99, users can download a pro version, which includes GPS information and enables offline use.
