After a 24-hour search following Tuesday’s earthquake in Nepal, six U.S. Marines and two Nepalese soldiers last seen on a Marine Corps helicopter are still missing, Reuters reports.

The helicopter had been delivering aid on Tuesday to Dolakha, a district hit hard by the April 25 and May 12 quakes, when it disappeared. Six Nepalese helicopters and about 400 soldiers found no trace of the UH-1Y “Huey” helicopter.

“There is no positive confirmation of any sighting of the aircraft, and we have no communication with them at this moment,” Marine spokesperson Captain Cassandra Gesecki told Reuters. She added that there was no evidence indicating a crash.
