Building a second brewery in Brevard, North Carolina, was only the first step in Oskar Blues’ diabolical plan to make beer central to everything you love. This week, the Colorado-based brewery announced that it will open the Oskar Blues REEB Ranch—a veritable bike ‘n brew oasis near cycling mecca Dupont State Forest.
The 145-acre ranch will house a bike park, performance space, and even a farm where Oskar Blues raises both cows and hops for its brewery eight miles down the lane. Making it even more all-inclusive is the incorporation of the Bike Farm guiding and concierge service into its facilities.
According to the Oskar Blues website, the company is already in the middle of construction on the ranch and says “rides from the property will start rolling soon.”
Those interested in visiting have a wide selection of habitations from which to choose: a 1940s cabin nestled between waterfalls, an apartment in a barn, and tent camping.
REEB Ranch takes its name from Oskar Blues’ handmade-bike company, REEB Cycles, which will also demo products on the property.
