Outside Magazine Announces New Italy Edition at Outdoor Retailer

Santa Fe, NM (January 23, 2008) Outside, America’s leading active lifestyle magazine, will announce its latest international edition, Outside Italy, at Outdoor Retailer’s Winter Market, in Salt Lake City, January 24–28. Outside Italy marks the 30-year-old brand’s fourth international edition, in addition to Outside China, Outside Sweden, and Go Outside Brazil.

“The active lifestyle market is growing worldwide and we’re happy to be expanding Outside‘s presence into Italy,” said Anne Mollo-Christensen, Vice President of Business Development at Outside. “Outside Italy will deliver the same kind of award-winning content that the magazine has become known for. We couldn’t think of a better place than OR to announce our latest edition.”

Published by Play Media Company, Outside Italy will be distributed starting in March on newsstands throughout the national area and the Italian district of Switzerland. Outside‘s logo will appear on the cover, and each issue will carry translated content from the U.S. edition with additional fashion and style pages, news, and features created specifically for Italy. The magazine will be published eight times a year, with an initial monthly circulation of 200,000.
