Outside Magazine’s New China Edition at Outdoor Retailer

Santa Fe, NM (January 9, 2007) Outside, America’s leading active lifestyle magazine, will showcase its newest international edition, Outside China, at Outdoor Retailer’s Winter Market in Salt Lake City, January 27 through 30. Outside China joins the magazine’s other international editions, Outside Sweden and Go Outside Brazil.

Published by Titan Culture-Exchange Co., Ltd, Outside China will be distributed throughout the People’s Republic of China (including mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao) with an initial monthly circulation of 120,000. Outside‘s logo will have equal prominence on the cover with the phrase Hu Wai, the Chinese translation of the word Outside. Each issue will carry no less than 40 percent translated content from the U.S. edition.

“China is the perfect place to expand Outside‘s international presence as their active travel industry grows,” said Anne Mollo-Christensen, vice president of business development at Outside. “We’re excited to bring our latest edition to the leading outdoor industry trade event.”

Outside China is one exciting facet of Outside magazine’s 30th anniversary celebration in 2007. Outside will also introduce a fall Buyer’s Guide to compliment the successful summer guide and in the spring will launch Outside‘s Go, the first travel and style magazine written exclusively for affluent, active men.
