Police in Beverly Hills are on the hunt for a petulant motorist suspected of using his vehicle as a deadly weapon against a cyclist. Following an altercation between the two men, during which the cyclist allegedly punched the motorist in the face, the driver pursued the cyclist into an alleyway and used his vehicle to pin him against a rolling metal trash bin. He then drove away without exchanging insurance information, as is the custom.
The cyclist, whose name has not been released, sustained serious injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.
The police are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the perpetrator. The suspect is described as a thin white or Middle Eastern man in his mid-30s, with dark hair and dark eyes. His vehicle, a white sedan, has likely sustained some minor front-end damage.
