Utah's Canyons Resort is running a contest that promises fame, fortune and endless powder to one wanna-be ski bum.
All you have to do is answer the question, “How do You Mountain?” Mountain being “a widely applicable verb that encompasses both the physical and emotional pursuit; also deriving from a mountain’s symbolism as a goal or challenge.”
If you can convince the resort through a short video blog and a writing sample that you'll be the best Canyons ambassador, you'll get:
-a season pass to Canyons
-superior (suite) lodging at the Waldorf Astoria
-salary of $40,000 for just four months of “hard work”
-use of camera, video camera and laptop
-head-to-toe ski or board gear
-Canyons club access
-airfare to and from Canyons
-ski school and avalanche training clinics
-first tracks and heli skiing access
-VIP credentials for all Canyons events
Fun fact: Canyons is where skiier Grete Eliassen set the hip jump world record at 31 feet earlier this year. (See video above.)
