The La Sportiva Mountain Cup trail running series wrapped up Saturday in Taos, NM. The ten race series was won by Megan Kimmell and Ryan Woods, who both took home $5,000 for scoring the most points during the entire series.
Bryon Powell, our friend over at iRunFar.com, posted a great recap of the series and the final race—the Taos Up and Over 10k, which called for more than 2,000 feet of climbing in about 3 miles, and then the same grade on the descent (the elevation profile looks like a shark tooth — nasty!). Check out Bryon's post for the details.
