Outside Picks the Best New Product at SIA + Videos!

You already heard about the SnowSports Industries of America (SIA) trade show that happened in Denver, Colorado, last week from our Powder Feed blogger, Kate Siber! She gave you a round-up on some of the best new gear out there.

But, wait. What was that? There is more cool gear out there? You betcha. And we have the videos to prove it.

Scroll down to find out what pieces of gear I noticed while strolling the SIA trade show. Plus: three videos on my finds and a bonus video celebrating Smith Optic's 45th anniversary.

1) Jones Snowboards
That's right! The big-mountain snowboarder who appeared in Travis Rice's That's It, That's All last year is launching his own line of powder boards, including the split board that you see up top.

We got the run down from Jones, himself, who then took us out on a test run at Loveland, Colorado, so we could get a feel for them. Keep an eye on the blog for videos from our test day at Loveland.

Scroll down for four videos…

But for now, check out this video featuring Jones Snowboards, Bern's brand new all-carbon fiber helmets, and a K2 snowboard signed by the snow bunny herself, Gretchen Bleiler.

2) Quiksilver Travis Rice's very first signature backpack from Quiksilver. Not only is it bright orange–your friends will be able to spot you easily–it comes with a little fold-down seat. If you're Travis Rice, you most likely don't have to partake in the actual building of a kicker so you can use this lovely feature to relax and watch your buddies perfect your backcountry booter. If you're not Travis Rice? Well, you'll get creative.

With what can you use this pack? Find out in Video number two. Rossignol's newest women's board, the Diva, doesn't only have a gorgeous top sheet, it also features the technology from their Angus board, which had runaway success last year. On top of the eye candy, we give you a brand new brain-saving technology from POC helmets called MIPS technology. You'll have to watch the video to find out more. Plus: an adorable piece of outerwear from Bonfire Snowboarding

3) Rome Snowboards
…introduces PureFlex: a one-string lacing system that eliminates the need for separate ways to tighten down the inner and outer parts of your snowboard boot. Using a color-coded lacing system, Rome gives us a demonstration on how it works in this video. What do you think? Revolutionary?

4) Smith Optics
What would SIA be without the evolution of the goggle at Smith's booth? It's their 45th anniversary and they've broken into their basement to dig up their oldest innovations. Because you know you want to see the original, bubble-like, James Bond-esque ski goggle, watch this video.
