Recently, Red Bull profiled Hawaii-based surf photographer Zak Noyle in a two-part, 24-minute show called Momentum. Noyle is one of those photographers you see ducking under big waves just after getting shots of surfers flying through barrels. In the first video, surfers Jamie O'Brien and Jesse Merle Jones talk about what it's like to work with Noyle. In the second part, Noyle's coaches, family and friends talk about the experiences that have allowed him to work up to shooting in big conditions, such as the 25-foot waves surfed at The Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau.

Noyle is fresh off a Tahiti shoot for Surfer's Big Issue. One photo in that series features Danny Fuller at Teahupoo, and shows in amazing detail just how close he is to the reef when riding the wave.
