What Mountain Biker Brandon Semenuk Can’t Live Without
And no, we’re not talking about his bike
Brandon Semenuk is only 26 but has already won three Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour gold medals and started a film company called Revel Co. When he's not on the road competing, Semenuk is often back home on his five-acre property in Whistler where he has a 30-jump bike park. That's where we caught up with him to ask about his essential, non-bike, everyday gear.
A camera has become essential in my day-to-day items. Film or digital, it doesn’t matter as long as it’s ready to shoot. Recently, I’ve been using this Fujifilm Klasse W film camera.
Style meets comfort with Etnies Scout Shoes. Hustling through airports or spending a day at the beach, this is the ultimate everyday shoe for me.
The Space Brace ankle braces are the most important piece of equipment I use for riding. Without them, my ankles would be destroyed and I wouldn’t be on my bike as much as I’d like to.
No matter where you are or what you’re doing, music makes things better. I always bring a portable Bluetooth travel speaker with me, like this one from Harman Kardon.
I drink a lot of tea, so a reliable, well-tested tea kettle is a necessity for me.
TurnGreat snack bars are a truly healthy and tasty snack for life on the road, in between sessions, or just something to fill the void in between meals.
