Your commuter kit is set to get a lot smarter, thanks to Google.
The tech giant helped Levis build a denim commuter jacket that controls your phone via embedded Bluetooth sensors. The wearer swipes and gestures with his left arm to control calls, texts, navigation, and essential riding apps like Strava and Spotify. The only tell: a small tag that houses the necessary electronics and that can be removed before washing.
The jacket is scheduled to launch in 2017, but if you can’t wait, Levi’s is looking for a few beta riders to test the products this fall.
