CamelBak has been experimenting with lumbar hydration packs for quite some time, but they finally figured out how to make one work for mountain biking. A few of our testers were able to wear the Charge LR earlier this summer, and they all said more or less the same thing: it’s the most comfy hydration pack I’ve ever worn. Less sloshing. Feels great. When we heard feedback like that, we knew we had a potential winner our hands. We’ll give it a more thorough field test this summer and have a more detailed review this fall.
