Run on loose kitty litter? Then you might want to check out Inov8’s minimalist cleat, the Bare-Grip 200.
This 200-gram, zero-drop trail runner doesn’t have a midsole, which means you get as close as possible to a true barefoot feel, according to the company.
To say the outsole has an aggressive tread pattern is an understatement. The cleats (flexible, medium-sized lugs) should give you pretty great traction in wet or soft conditions.
So yes, the Bare-Grip 200 is designed as a hardcore trail shoe, but we think it might work pretty well on a soccer pitch, too.
