Good for Groomed Runs
OK, so most of mainland Europe is still heavily into caaarvvink. That’s a good thing, because it means they’ll keep making detuned race skis like the powerful SX 12pb. In addition to a wood-like synthetic layup buttressed by sheets of fiberglass, the SX 12pb comes fully loaded with a Powerbridge binding plate underfoot, which transfers more power to the ski. It easily matched the Fischer’s bite but was a bit livelier from edge to edge. 115/68/99; atomicsnow.com
