Knife nuts seem to be going wild for this one. The Benchmade 556 Mini-Griptilian has a 2.91-inch blade made out of stainless steel, rated between 58-60 on the HRC scale for hardness. That means it should retain its edge for a very, very long time.

The blade flicks open with a smooth action, and thumb studs on both sides let you use either hand while cutting. It locks solidly, too, closing down to a pocket-friendly 3.87 inches—though you might forget the 2.56-ounce knife is in your pocket at all.
