Disappointed your iPhone camera doesn’t have the capacity of a DSLR? Not for long.
The pocket-sized, 20-megapixel DxO One is a small camera that attaches to your phone’s Lightning port and operates through an app, cramming DSLR features into a travel-friendly 3.8-ounce package. It even has its own memory card to free up phone storage.
The one-inch sensor offers great low-light sensitivity (ISO 100 to 12,800) and an aperture range of f/1.8 to f/11. Shutter speeds range from 15 seconds to 1/8,000 of a second, good for both action shots and night-sky portraits. It also captures 1080p video and swivels 60 degrees forward and backward, offering several angle options.
The drawbacks: it currently only works with iOS and there’s no optical zoom (just digital). But there’s always (we hope) the possibility of a DxO Two.
