Recon Campers teamed up with Nissan to offer a modern-day version of a VW Westphalia.

The NV200 (conversions from $6,000 to $25,000) is a fully insulated, finished camper, with a bed, fridge, sink, running water, solar panels, awning, exterior shower, and a pop-top roof with toy-hauling bars. Even better: the van gets 25 miles per gallon and fits in a standard garage. Recon plans to ramp up production within a year and offer several versions through Nissan dealerships.
